According to S&P Global FinLit, only 24% of Vietnamese adults have basic financial literacy — among the lowest in the world. We learn an enormous amount at school, but never how to use money to live with peace of mind and reach what we dream of.
We tend to hesitate to share our financial struggles, lacking someone to guide us or a safe community to learn and sustain healthy money habits. Amid endless money advice, what's missing is a place to learn and practice together.
Without a foundation, individuals fall under spending pressure, bad debt, and credit misuse — weakening the economy's resilience to crises and adding strain to social security systems.
To close these gaps in personal finance education, Richie helps young people begin their financial journey more easily — while contributing to Vietnam's National Financial Inclusion Strategy and sustainable development.

Richie's workshops are where you learn from leading finance experts, share real-world perspectives, and connect with others who are passionate about building a solid financial life.
Today, Richie is a non-profit student project, running with the support of the RMIT Student Leadership Program (SLDP). Our 2026 plan has been approved by RMIT leadership, which funds our operating budget.
In the longer term (from 2027), Richie aims to build a more sustainable cash flow — potentially as a social enterprise — by commercializing our educational products and workshops, gradually reducing reliance on a single funding source.
